Scheduled Oil Sampling, or S.O.S for short, is an Autograde service allowing you to see what is happening inside your engine and detect problems before they become serious. Our S.O.S service includes S.O.S oil analysis and S.O.S coolant analysis. The standard test in the S.O.S oil analysis includes wear rate analysis, oil cleanliness analysis, oil condition analysis and detection of fuel, water and glycol. Effective S.O.S is estimated to be 3 to 5 times more cost-effective than unscheduled maintenance and repair. Studies show that 40 percent of all oil changes are performed either too soon or too late. Through the S.O.S program, we can provide expert feedback to reduce risks to your equipment and save your money. Autograde’s in-house S.O.S laboratory is staffed by specially trained technicians, advanced machines and equipment’s to serve our esteemed customers. Machines and engines which have been using S.O.S Services generally bring a higher return upon trade-in or sale. For example, some owners of on-highway truck fleets have found that they can command a higher price for their trucks at trade-in or at auction, if they can produce comprehensive SOS records.
